Studio portraits at night. Fighting the dog-tired feeling from the day, and then the quiet and the wrangling of light sensitive papers, setting up for hour long, day long, week long, or month long exposures where I'm trying to think through time.

'Celestial no. 2' will be hanging in the Bowness Photography Prize @maph_photography alongside so many other amazing works by artists I deeply admire. The exhibition opens tonight and continues to 9th November.
'3 hours // 3 weeks (May 2025)' is a diptych of cameraless photographic works that record the actions of light on light sensitive surfaces across time. Rejecting the swift 'point and shoot' methodology, these works instead gather light over extended
